DIY Antlers for Halloween or Christmas

My husband and I dressed up as a werewolf and victim deer for Halloween. The antlers turned out great! I'm going to wear them for an ugly Christmas sweater party as well.

What you will need for this project:

  • Aluminium foil
  • Hair band
  • Hot glue/gun
  • Mod podge
  • Newspaper
  • Paint

Mold aluminum foil into antler shapes

Paper mache the antlers with mod podge and strips of newspaper

Try to make the antlers as smooth as possible

Mold some ears out of foil and paper mache them as well

Use hot glue to make lines on the antlers. Spray paint

Use white paint to paint the insides of the ears and also to highlight the antlers

LOVE!!

Ugly Sweater Party DIY

I love ugly Christmas sweaters that make a pop culture reference. Does Santa’s pose look familiar? Kim Kardashian recently did a photo shoot that recreated one of Jean-Paul Goude photographs from the 60’s. But instead of champagne, of course Santa is balancing a glass of milk on his bum!

All you need for this project is:

  • Felt (red, white and tan)
  • Hot glue/gun
  • Tacky glue
  • White putty paint
  • Scissors
  • Pen

Supplies

Click on this LINK and print out the photo above and cut out all the pieces.

Each pattern piece says what color it should be traced on and what piece it is. Trace and cut each piece out of felt.

Use hot glue or tacky glue to stick all the pieces together. Then use white puffy paint to trace around all the white trim on Santa's suit.

Hot glue Santa on to your sweater. Also glue on Santa's glass and bottle of milk.

Use puffy paint to write "MILK" on the bottle.

Cut out thin strips of felt so see where you would like to draw the milk arch

Use puffy paint to trace on your milk arch.

LOVE IT!
